From a young age, the guiding principle of Daniella Moffson's life was the desire to help others. Daniella fully appreciated the importance of inclusion and socialization for children with special needs.
This is why Friendship Circle played such an important role in her life. She participated both while at school and university, meeting with her friend Mikey on a regular basis. Daniella never spoke much about her involvement, however, the impact of her acts of Chesed were felt by those she helped. Through her participation in Friendship Circle, Daniella was able to make a difference in the lives of children with special needs and their families.
We, therefore, are proud to announce that the Moffson Family will be partnering with Friendship Circle Online to create a virtual Friendship Circle Chapter and continue the work that Daniella was so passionate about.
Friendship Circle’s virtual programming first began during Covid-19, when the globe entered into shut down and people were stuck at home in complete isolation. Fast forward two years, and Friendship Circle online is expanding into a chapter online, servicing those individuals who don’t have a Friendship Circle branch nearby or simply enjoy the supplemental virtual programs in addition to the in-person ones they attend.
Friendship Circle online currently has participants from 12 states, and 5 countries, and has plans to expand to other countries and languages.
The partnership established in her honor is something that she would have supported and been very proud of.
